Terms and Conditions

Before development begins, the client and Nigeria Code Works will agree on the project scope, deliverables, estimated timeline, pricing, and other relevant requirements.

Any requirements not included in the agreed project scope may be treated as additional work.

Our standard payment structure requires a 70% deposit before development begins.

The remaining 30% balance will be payable according to the agreed project terms and, unless otherwise agreed in writing, before final project handover or launch.

Development work will generally not commence until the required deposit has been received.

The agreed quotation covers the features and services specifically stated in the project proposal or quotation.

Requests for additional features, pages, integrations, functionality, revisions, or significant changes outside the agreed scope may attract additional charges.

The client is responsible for providing accurate information, branding materials, images, text, product information, login credentials where necessary, and other materials required to complete the project.

Delays in providing required materials or feedback may affect the project timeline.

We will provide an estimated project timeline based on the agreed scope.

Timelines may change where there are delays caused by: late client feedback, delayed content submission, changes to project requirements, third-party service issues, hosting or domain issues, payment gateway approval, API or third-party integration delays, or events outside our reasonable control.

Domain names, hosting, premium plugins, APIs, payment gateways, email services, software licenses, cloud services, SMS services, and other third-party services may have separate costs and terms.

Nigeria Code Works is not responsible for service interruptions, policy changes, account restrictions, or failures caused by third-party providers.

Before launch, the client may be required to review and approve the completed website or software.

Once the project has been approved and launched, subsequent modifications may be treated as maintenance or additional development work depending on the request.

Unless otherwise agreed, the client receives rights to the custom website or software developed specifically for them after all outstanding project payments have been completed.

Third-party software, plugins, frameworks, libraries, fonts, images, or other licensed materials remain subject to their respective licenses.

We respect the confidentiality of client information and will not intentionally disclose confidential project information to unauthorized third parties.

If a client decides to cancel a project after development has commenced, payment and refund treatment will depend on the work already completed, project circumstances, and the applicable refund terms.

By making a payment for a project, the client acknowledges that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
